Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance management.

We are a family-owned business that has operated hotels in Estes Park since 1998. We have four hotels, The Silver Moon Inn, The Appenzell Inn, The Estes Mountain Inn, and Hotel Estes. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is self-motivated and is passionate about hospitality.

Maintenance Supervisor

This role requires individuals who have a discerning eye, and the heart of a coach who can effectively

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of facilities management to ensure the safety and security of guests and associates and protect the assets.

2. Use your extensive knowledge and talent for team management to ensure operations are smooth and facilities fully functioning for optimal guest experience.

3. Ensures/performs all tasks on daily, monthly, and bi-annual checklists.

4. Ensures all equipment is correctly maintained and operates at full capacity.

5. Conduct and document all inspections and drills.

6. Ensures compliance with all codes and regulations.

7. Maintain accurate records to ensure a safe environment which protects the assets, guests, and associates.

8. Develops, implements (with manager approval), and manages energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.

9. Defines the cost and scope of projects and oversees all to ensure quality work is performed for minimal costs.

10. Oversees all facets of the properties Preventative Maintenance program.

11. Develops, implements (with manager approval), and manager a maintenance program

12. Directs staff engaged in general property upkeep

13. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assist staff in solving problems

14. Promotes Hoch Resorts 100% commitment to providing extraordinary service to our guests throughout the properties, both internal and external.

15. Ensures that all guest-related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.

16. Performs other duties as assigned

• Read, write and speak English.

• Must have a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills.
• Pleasant personality and people skills.

Experience or Training Required

• High school education.
• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience
• Microsoft Office
• Basic computer skills

License or Certification Preferred

• CPO
