Summary
The Career and University Center is seeking student workers to help other Hocking students learn a proficiency with job search communications such as resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interviewing skills, and elevator pitch. The student employee will participate in a peer-driven environment that offers advising for these skills.
Responsibilities
Much of the work will be focused on-
Peer Advising :
- Helping Cornerstone students complete their course requirements.
- Review resumes with individual students in order to improve their documents. Provide a critique of individual student's expression of their professional identity, skills, and ability to reflect the employer's need. Use proper resume review practices.
- Review students' practice interviews. Give feedback about to their response to questions.
- Review students' LinkedIn profiles to determine whether they meet completion requirements and advise individuals how to improve them.
