What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Worker position at Hocking Hills Golf Club?
We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a landscaper. You’ll follow the crew leader to perform lawn care and maintenance duties for our customers including weedeating, fertilizing, mulching, edging, raking, pruning, and any additional landscaping tasks. Job seekers should take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working with others.
Compensation:$14 - $15 hourly
Responsibilities:- Do general lawn care duties like groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance including mowing, raking, mulching, weeding, fertilizing, edging, and pruning
- Apply pesticide as needed for weed control
- Create daily reports of completed work
- Help the crew team with landscape design, landscape installation, landscape construction, and landscape maintenance
- Keep flower beds looking pristine with a sprinkler or irrigation system
- Great physical health and stamina
- Must have a U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
- At least 2 years of experience as a crew member landscaping for residential or commercial properties
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
Hocking Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole course with a restaurant and two on-site lofts.
