Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking a Patient Registration Clerk to join our friendly, hard-working team for the following shifts:
- Admitting Department, PRN/Contingent
- Pay is $16.66/hr at hire

Our Desired Candidate
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- One-year previous medical office and patient registration experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Computer literacy and good typing skills are necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance providers is a plus.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt.
- Excellent communication and customer service (both external and internal customers) skills.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Long-term tenure at previous roles / proven track record of stability in employment.
