The Hockomock Area YMCA is seeking passionate educators to foster early childhood development in a supportive and engaging environment. We are currently hiring part-time Pre-K Assistant Teachers and Toddler Teachers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and guidance to children in their care.
- Follow all health policies, YMCA policies, and EEC regulations.
- Actively participate in at least two YMCA family events and all childcare family events.
- Promptly communicate any concerns to a Teacher or Lead Teacher.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Attend and complete professional development as required by EEC.
Requirements
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Experience working with children is required.
