Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Director for Early Childhood Development to lead our Early Learning Center at the Bernon Family Branch in Franklin, MA. As the Senior Director of the Early Learning Center, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and nurturing learning environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Oversees the daily operations of the Early Learning Center, ensuring high-quality programming and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Inspires, recruits, trains, and develops staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth.
- Family Engagement: Builds strong relationships with families, providing guidance and hosting events that foster community and support family development.
- Program Development: Drives program and curriculum development, encouraging creativity and innovation to keep students engaged.
- Enrollment and Outreach: Collaborates to increase enrollments and plan family engagement activities beyond regular hours.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintains strict adherence to Massachusetts laws, EEC licensing requirements, and safety standards.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Participates in budgeting and financial management to ensure the center operates efficiently and effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitates regularly scheduled staff meetings and participates in Association and department meetings and committees as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, with EEC Director II certification.
- Experience: At least three years of leadership experience running an Early Childhood Center, strongly preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proven ability to inspire and manage a team, fostering professional development; ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Darkness to Light, EEC Certification.
