Description
The Hockomock Area YMCA's Hurley Family branch in North Attleboro is hiring a water fitness instructor to teach Water Aerobics classes. The Water Fitness Instructor instructs water aerobics classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment, promoting member wellness and engagement. Certification is not required, and on-site training is available for committed applicants.
Essential Duties :
- Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes
- Builds effective, authentic relationships with members, helping members connect with one another and the YMCA
- Provides a safe and enjoyable environment
- Responds to emergency situations consistent with YMCA policies and procedures
- Keeps accurate class attendance records
- Attends all required instructor in-services
- Is prepared with all necessary supplies to ensure class starts and ends on time
