The Hockomock Area YMCA is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team at the Off the Common Early Learning Center in Foxboro. If you have a passion for working with children and fostering a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Essential Functions
- Provide supervision and guidance to children in the classroom.
- Assist children during enrichment classes and programs.
- Participate in staff meetings, childcare family events, and at least three YMCA events annually.
- Communicate effectively with parents on a daily basis.
- Follow all health and safety policies, YMCA guidelines, and EEC regulations.
- EEC Certified Teacher – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree – Strongly Preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education – Preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
