What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Teacher position at Hockomock YMCA?
The Hockomock Area YMCA is seeking an individual who loves to work with children to fill a Full Time Toddler Teacher position in the Childcare Center at the Invensys Foxboro Branch. The Teacher is responsible for the direct supervision of groups and activities in an Infant, Toddler, or Preschool classroom. The qualified candidate must have an EEC Teacher certificate.
Essential Functions
- Provides supervision and guidance to children
- Assists the children during specific enrichment classes or program
- Participates and attends staff meetings, childcare family events, and at least three YMCA events
- Communicates with parents on a daily basis
- Is aware and follows all health policies, YMCA policies, and EEC regulations
- EEC Certified Teacher, required
- Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
- At least 1 years experience, preferred
