What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Teachers position at Hockomock YMCA?
The Hockomock Area YMCA is seeking individuals who love to work with children to fill two Preschool/Pre-K Teacher positions at the Early Learning Center Off the Foxboro Common in Foxboro, MA. Preschool/Pre-K Teachers are responsible for the direct supervision of groups and activities in the childcare program. Qualified candidate must have an EEC Teacher certificate and be available to work 6:45am to 3:15pm, Monday-Friday or 8:30am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
Essential Functions
- Provides supervision and guidance to children
- Assists the children during specific enrichment classes or program
- Participates and attends staff meetings, childcare family events, and at least three YMCA events
- Communicates with parents on a daily basis
- Is aware and follows all health policies, YMCA policies, and EEC regulations
- EEC Certified Teacher, required
- Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
- At least 1 years experience, preferred
