Work in a high volume, fast-paced environment where you will be working in both our warehouse servicing specialty customer orders as well as working on-site at a customer's location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) in our warehouse environment, pulling product, transporting materials and providing customer support to designated on-site areas to fulfill predetermined inventory and product needs.
- Pick/pack orders when field work is not required.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and provide on-site support and contact with our VMI customers.
- Ensure shelves are accurately stocked and orders placed as necessary by cycle-counting inventory & ordering product to avoid stock outs.
- Provide timely order information, allowing communication with HNI Ops & Sales.
- Responsible for cleaning/organizing areas including identifying products, establishing or adjusting min/max levels, setting up shelves, and labeling bins.
- Provide excellent customer service by forming positive relationships with clients and utilizing excellent in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.
- Provide feedback to Management regarding any issues with the VMI process.
- Provide information to Managers and Customer Service to help ensure the accuracy of Hodell-Natco products stocking positions.
- Be the eyes and ears of HNI when on customer's site by providing information to the organization to ensure service levels are maintained and not compromised.

- Be able to comply with drug free work place requirements, seven-year criminal background screen and DMV compliance
- Forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or the equivalent with basic math aptitude and reading skills
- Familiarity with scan systems and basic comfort level with computers
- Prior warehouse and customer service experience
- Willingness and ability to work in a drug-free workplace as part of our Drug Free Safety Program
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a 7-year criminal background screen
- Good physical condition with the ability to bend/lift stretch and regularly lift 50 pounds or more
