*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in working with the team to provide quality care to animals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about animal health and well-being.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist in: administering medication, performing treatment, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running lab tests, administering IV fluids
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Perform radiographs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Handle animals with care and compassion
- Provide support in dental procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in veterinary medical terminology is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environments desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
