This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex engineering projects, with a focus on HVAC and pharmaceutical infrastructure.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, cleanroom environments, and other critical systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, and implement best practices within the engineering department.
- Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and plans, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, particularly in cold room and cleanroom environments.
- Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Expertise in navigating and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering
- Extensive experience in HVAC systems and cleanroom/cold room design.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects in a regulated environment.
