Bachelors degree in Accounting is a must. At least five years of experience is a plus. Quickbooks experience needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial record keeping: Maintaining accurate financial records by recording transactions in the general ledger, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank reconciliation: Regularly reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy of financial records and identify discrepancies.
- Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing various financial reports like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review.
- Journal entry preparation: Posting appropriate journal entries for various transactions.
- Account reconciliation: Reconciling different accounts within the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Fixed asset accounting: Tracking and maintaining records of company assets.
- Payroll processing: Assisting with payroll calculations and ensuring accurate employee payments.
- Auditing support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Budgeting: Supporting the budgeting process by providing relevant financial data
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
