We are looking for an experienced accounting clerk to join our enthusiastic team. As an accounting clerk you would be responsible for providing accounting support to multiple accountants. Keying daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensuring files are complete and maintained as needed, handling accounts payable and receivable duties and assisting accounting personnel.

Accounting Clerk Major Responsibilities
*Perform accounting and clerical functions to support accountants
*Research, track and resolve accounting problems
*Compile and sort invoices, receipts and checks
*Process and Issue checks for accounts payable
*Place checks in envelopes and mail out
*Record daily business transactions from compiled reports
*Process and Record daily deposits
*File
*Provide backup for Administrative Assistant
Accounting Clerk Minimum Requirements
*4-5 years of accounting clerk duties in an office environment
*Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced work environment
*Good communication skills
*Attention to Detail
*Organized and Dependable
*MS Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge
*QuickBooks knowledge
*Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
*Ability to successfully pass a drug screen
*Ability to successfully pass a criminal background investigation
