What You'll Do
- Work Direction: Oversee the allocation of maintenance tasks, ensuring work is performed efficiently and according to established procedures. Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize maintenance activities and meet operational goals.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance, developmental feedback, and motivation to maintenance team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing to ensure effective use of maintenance tools and processes.
- Team Management: Assist with performance evaluations of maintenance staff, allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations, and address personnel issues or conflicts promptly and fairly.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing equipment, machinery, and warehouse infrastructure. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Safe Equipment Operation: Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and ensure their availability.
- Cleanliness Support: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Maintenance Coordinator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.
Education/Experience:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong understanding of mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
- Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture.
- Ability to work safely at heights up to 60 feet following fall arrest protocols and safety guidelines.
- Experience with or willingness to learn the use of material handling equipment is a plus.
- For jobs requiring heavy machinery: Employees must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and hoists.
