Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with 200 attorneys in nine offices, is seeking a Collections Customer Account Manager to join our busy Accounting team in our Buffalo office. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of daily/weekly/monthly procedures to be performed by the firm’s Collections Specialists and ensuring that collections activity is strategically focused to minimize delinquency and optimize collections. Recommend modifications to the Collection Procedures and best practices as needed. Report to the Manager of Revenue, CFO and firm leadership (ie COO, Finance Committee) on firm collections efforts and KPI’s as well as design reports and/or dashboards. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to meet deadlines, identify and anticipate needs, and deliver highly accurate and reliable results. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field, with five years of hands-on experience and an understanding of accounting functions and principles within a professional services firm preferred.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo is $69,700 to $85,500. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
