Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with two hundred plus attorneys in nine offices, is seeking an Estates & Trusts Tax Paralegal / Fiduciary Accountant to join our busy Estates & Trusts team in our Albany, Buffalo, Florida or Rochester office. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing estate and gift tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, and court accountings, using guidelines set by the attorneys. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to meet deadlines and focus on details. A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, liberal arts, or some other closely related field, with a minimum of three years in a paralegal role or accounting role. Knowledge and experience with taxing authorities, as well as demonstrated writing and tax preparation ability required.
Hodgson Russ offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, flexible spending, 401(k), Paid Time Off, pension plan, and more. At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Albany, Buffalo, Florida or Rochester is $69,750 to $85,000. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
