• Monday – Friday, with some nights and weekends
• Available by phone most weekends
• 40 hours per week minimum

Temecula Office and Field

Compensation

$30.00 - $42.55 hourly

Summary

The Field Investigator would perform a variety of field assignments consisting of door knocks, scene canvassing, service of legal papers, witness contacts, and these investigations will take place throughout Southern California.

Self-management of field-related investigations, witness interviews, surveillance, management of assigned tasks, research, investigations, analysis of evidence, report writing, review and analysis administrative duties, data entry, answering of phones, contacts with vendors and clients, assisting in investigations, assisting Investigations Manager.

Duties

• Stake outs
• Service of legal papers
• Witness contacts
• Social media and online research
• Report writing and review
• Contact with vendors and clients
• Collect court documents and vital records
• Administrative duties including phone calls and emails
• Assist Case Managers as needed or assigned

Essential Functions

• Self-management of field-related investigations and assignments
• Conduct field investigations and surveillance as assigned
• Conduct and record witness interviews and statements
• Report writing, review and analysis
• Present evidence-based reports

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-years experience with insurance claims (Required)
• Minimum of 5-years experience with private investigations (Required)
• Registered Process Server (Preferred)
• Notary Public (Preferred)
• Experience taking recorded witness statements (Required)
• Licensed Private Investigator
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Experience with Adobe
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Team player
• Ability to follow assignment instructions carefully
• Valid driver’s license (Required)
