SUMMARY:
Moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the service department clean and all the vehicles in order, and helps Service Writers as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Washing and drying of service customer vehicles.
• Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior
and exterior of vehicles, replenishing fuel as needed and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps Service lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the manager and in accordance
with dealership safety standards.
• Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes
containers from work areas.
• Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards
or regulations
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their
questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Controls service traffic flow and parking.
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment. Records customer's name,
VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
• Assists lot attendant with duties at the service counter.
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Completes and maintains all required training.
• Comply with No Smoking Policy with no residual smoke odor.
• Completes all required training and maintains 100% completion
• Maintains a professional appearance.
