HOERBIGER Corporation of America (HCA) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our manufacturing team in Pompano Beach. The Customer Service Representative works as a liaison between HCA and all other HOERBIGER entities, executing all order entry and quotation activities regarding precision manufactured compressor valves and other components. This is a full-time position, generally scheduled on-property weekdays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Create, edit, and acknowledge sales orders via EDI (electronic data interchange).
- Check order status and provide proactive feedback or expedite opportunities. Monitor, release, and follow up on individual deliveries and invoices.
- Create, edit, and acknowledge Customer issues and budgetary quotations in Salesforce
- Create, edit, and maintain Customer and Product Master Data using ERP system and working with various departments (Engineering, Sales, Purchasing)
- Resolve customer complaints and organize returns, credits, or replacement orders using ERP system
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in customer service (preferably in manufacturing industry) or associate degree/technical college degree plus three years related experience in customer service
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting highly preferred
- Intermediate Level Computer skills
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office – Outlook (email & scheduling), Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Minimum one year experience using an integrated ERP/MRP system such as SAP HANA; understanding of Master Data in an ERP system
- Minimum one year experience with CRM system such as Salesforce
- Excellent communication skills. Speak clearly and persuasively. Able to listen, clarify, and respond.
- Business Writing skills. Write clearly and informatively, read and interpret written information.
- Highly motivated and result-oriented individual with ability to work under pressure; maintain confidentiality. Motivated team player, positive attitude, excellent initiative and problem-solving abilities. Strong sense of urgency.
