How you will make a difference
- Strategic Procurement: You will purchase materials and generate work orders based on daily ERP-driven Action Messages to meet customer demand.
- Inventory Optimization: You will monitor and manage inventory and stock levels, maintaining a 95% on-time delivery rate while minimizing stock value.
- Data Management: You will maintain purchasing contracts and vendor agreements.
- Process Coordination: You will enter and maintain new part purchasing information and assist with choosing suppliers.
- Supplier Collaboration: You will visit suppliers to assess their capabilities and delivery requirements.
- Cost Efficiency: You will negotiate pricing and implement procurement strategies, such as blanket orders, to optimize costs.
- Procurement & Planning Expertise: You have 3-5 years of experience as a buyer in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
- Analytical & Data Skills: You excel in managing supply chain data, ensuring purchase order accuracy, and driving inventory efficiency.
- Supplier & Logistics Management: You have experience with international suppliers and logistics, with APICS certification considered a plus.
- Systems & Tools: You are proficient in SAP, and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Communication & Independence: You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and can work independently to drive results.
