We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Representative to join our dynamic Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients within the Utah, Eastern Idaho, and Montana markets. Your primary focus will be on driving window and door sales growth through effective communication, negotiation, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market dynamics and have the ability to leverage technology to enhance sales efforts.
Duties
- Identify, engage, and convert potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for market penetration.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
- Efficiently communicate with and provide support to customers to promote their and Western Window’s joint success and growth of business.
- Train customer reps on our products and general selling skills.
- Provides constant communication to customers regarding pricing and product additions or changes plus any additional information needed by customer for our joint success.
- Work closely with Inside Sales Representative(s) to promote customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Work with management to develop quarterly and annual sales budget for your territory
- Follow up with customers on quotes to convert to orders or learn why we lost the order.
Skills Needed
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and a minimum of 3-years sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills (in person, over the phone, and by email).
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals.
- Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Works efficiently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and effective interactive style.
- Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
- Building materials industry experience is highly desired.
