BARTENDER Job Description / Requirements
Primary Job Functions:
- Communicate with guest to compile food and drink order.
- Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
- Key guest’s food and drink order into POS system.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
- Develop relationships with guests.
- Identify food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
- Communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience.
- Make appropriate change when necessary.
- Process credit card transactions in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information.
- Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
- Change kegs out when necessary, with MOD assistance.
- Do side work during non-busy hours.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
- Prepare work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
- Perform additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team at any time.
- Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
Certifications and/or Testing Required:
- Maintains a current TABC serving permit and Texas Food Handler’s Certificate. Must be able to follow appropriate serving practices as outline by TABC and the training manual.

Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must clearly speak and write English.
- Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring.
- Required to stand, walk, lift, climb stairs and bend for long periods of time.
- Must be able to change kegs out when necessary.
