What does a BMW Genius at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Assist and compliment the Brand Specialists and Sales department in order to help improve efficiency in the department while also serving as technology and delivery consultant to customers and employees. Ensure customers understand vehicle technology, resulting in an industry-leading customer experience.
Leadership
This role does not lead others.
Core Accountabilities
- Provides comprehensive product information throughout the sales process, including vehicle configuration, product presentation, test drive, delivery/handover, customer service after purchase, and troubleshooting all Vehicle System features.
- Greets customers in the sales and service departments and introduces BMW Genius services.
- Provides extensive and customer oriented product experience and explains complex features based on customers actual needs.
- Utilizes app and web based systems to help facilitate the sales process, optimize customer satisfaction, and ensure consistent delivery execution
- Fully explains the application and benefits of vehicle features in both the sales and service environments
- Maintains constant communication with the designated sales personnel at the dealership on scheduled appointments, vehicle deliveries and any scheduling changes
- Acquires and maintains total product knowledge on all vehicles and understands competitors vehicle features, benefits, and potential shortcomings
- Keeps clients, sales, and service staff abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits
- Ensure all policies and procedures as designated by the Hoffman Auto Group Privacy Policy Act Policy are followed.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this job. Absences of any kind must be kept to a minimum so business is not negatively affect.

- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years experience in a sales orientated environment preferred
- Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
- Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement
- Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.
- Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
