Position Summary : The Project Contracts Manager will work within the Operations Department and will report to the Project Director. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the owner, subcontractor, and vendor contracts for large scale construction projects. This role involves participating in the negotiation of the contract with the project owner, managing the negotiations of subcontracts and vendor agreements, , reviewing draft documents, and managing all project related contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements, project specifications, and company policies. The Project Contracts Manager will work closely with the clients, project managers, legal team, risk management, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any contractual issues that arise. This is primarily a project based position but may include working from one of the corporate regional offices with frequent visits to the project site. The position may require extended hours or travel depending on project needs and deadlines.
Salary Range : $90,000 - $135,000 DOE
Essential Responsibilities :
- Contract Negotiations and Drafting :
Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions, including client agreements, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
Manage the lifecycle of contracts from inception through completion, including monitoring performance, compliance, modifications, and extensions.
Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, modifications, and related documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Collaborate with project managers to align project practices with contract terms.
