We’re looking for a digital-savvy, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Digital Editor, supporting our internal portfolio of brands as well as brands of our partners. This role is responsible for managing website content, email newsletters, and social media channels to grow audience engagement and brand presence across digital platforms.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys storytelling through digital media, and understands how to translate brand voice into engaging content.
Location: Remote in Louisiana, preferably in the greater New Orleans area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and SEO best practices
- Write and schedule compelling e-newsletter content to drive traffic and reader engagement
- Create and manage social media content calendars for platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Monitor social performance and identify content opportunities based on analytics and trends
- Collaborate with editorial, design, and marketing teams to support campaigns and digital initiatives
- Ensure all content meets quality, style, and brand standards
- Maintain an understanding of digital best practices, emerging tools, and platform updates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 1 years of experience managing digital content and/or social media for a brand
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and a flair for crafting engaging content
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with social platforms and tools such as Meta Business Suite, Pinterest, YouTube Studio, and Canva
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet weekly deadlines
- Bonus: Experience in online marketing, copywriting, and working with email platforms and CMS systems (like WordPress)
