What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Cast Set Up 1st and 2nd Shift position at Hoffmann Die Cast?
Job Description
- Must have previous die cast set up experience
- Ability to work on and replace dies, cores, and cylinders
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Die Cast machines
- Complete all Set-up per the Standard work order in a timely manner
- Ability to start/stop and run Die Cast machines in a safe efficient manner
- Set up and cycle Die Cast machines and equipment to support die cast process
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Ensures machines are deactivated and properly locked out before the set process
- Measuring and visually inspecting castings for defects
- Starting and troubleshooting machines
- Pay based on experience
Benefit eligible 1st of the Month following 60 days of employment.
