Shipping and Receiving

Hoffmann Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and cranes, managing inventory systems, and coordinating shipments.

• Unload van trailers and flatbed trucks using a forklift or crane as goods and materials arrive.
• Check in all received deliveries and accurately enter them into the system.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Gather inventory orders and distribute them to designated cage locations within the facility.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the stores building.
• Conduct yearly inventory counts and assist with stock management.
• Package customer orders and coordinate shipments to customer facilities.
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
• Must be able to receive, understand and execute written and verbal directions, as well as the ability to communicate and interact with others effectively.
• Excellent work ethic and strong attention to detail required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and spirit of cooperation with coworkers & customers.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward Hoffmann, Inc. both in person and through any social media platforms.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Walking, standing, kneeling
• Must be able to work additional hours over 40 and periodically work weekends as assigned.
• Exposure to construction and industrial conditions, outdoor elements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
