General Summary
The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for ensuring the raw materials are received, stored, and moved to production machines efficiently and accurately. This position is vital to the smooth operations of our production floor by moving materials as needed to machines, keeping our inventory accurate, and receiving, sorting, and labeling all raw materials.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Involves working in a manufacturing plant/warehouse floor which requires PPE (safety shoes, ear and eye protection).
Graveyard position Monday-Friday from 11:50pm-7:05am.

General Summary
The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for ensuring the raw materials are received, stored, and moved to production machines efficiently and accurately. This position is vital to the smooth operations of our production floor by moving materials as needed to machines, keeping our inventory accurate, and receiving, sorting, and labeling all raw materials.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate clamp truck in a busy manufacturing environment
- Accurately receive, label, and store all incoming raw materials
- Deliver raw materials to production work centers as needed in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure all material movements are recorded accurately
- Provide support to the inventory team when needed by assisting with cycle counting
- Work closely with team members on alternate shifts and the Receiving Manager to provide coverage when needed by working OT
- Learn and develop a strong working knowledge of all plant operations
- Knowledge of forklift or clamp truck operations; Hoffmaster's certification required
- Knowledge of material management procedures
- Knowledge of inventory bin systems / best practices for inventory management
- Skill in oral and written communication; bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Skill in problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making
- Skill in building and maintaining internal and external relationships
- Ability to flexible, self-directed, and motivated to improve processes
- Ability to be patient and adaptable to unforeseen changes
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and a team-driven attitude
- At least 1 year of experience in with forklift or clamp truck operation in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- High school diploma
