Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift
Pay: $20.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Primary Purpose of the Role: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and testing incoming products, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished products. You’ll ensure quality and food safety on the production floor during your shift. This role involves internal auditing, customer inspections, investigating complaints, and supporting corrective/preventive actions.

Primary Purpose of the Role: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and testing incoming products, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished products. Essential Functions
- Conduct internal quality audits, inspecting finished products, production paperwork, GMPs, and raw materials.
- Communicate findings to production teams and oversee corrective actions.
- Inspect incoming materials based on specifications.
- Perform inspection tests using lab instruments.
- Evaluate and properly dispose of non-conforming materials.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and sample pulls.
- Understand and meet varying customer quality expectations.
- Assist in decisions on product conformity.
- Perform analytical testing as required.
- Assist with customer complaint investigations and internal nonconformances.
- Prepare for facility audits and product inspections.
- Help update facility-related work instructions and procedures.
- Provide quality and food safety training.
- Follow GMP guidelines and report food safety issues.
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and follow instructions, specifications, and safety guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify quality issues in products and packaging
