Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Field Hockey Coach will collaborate with the Head Coach to achieve the program's objectives. Key responsibilities include developing student-athletes' skills, recruiting and retaining talent, and managing social media presence while adhering to NCAA regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement practice plans and skill instruction
- Utilize a database to recruit and retain student-athletes, and coordinate campus visits
- Organize team travel, game-day scouting, and other logistical tasks
- Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and perform administrative duties
- Manage social media interactions, ensuring compliance with department standards and NCAA rules
- Submit recruiting, activity, and campus visit logs in a timely manner
- Enforce university, department, and NCAA policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
