Position Title Electrician Position Number 898708 Position Category Plant and Facilities School / Division Plant Operations Department Full-Time or Part-Time Full-Time Description Reporting to the Associate Director of Physical Plant, the Electrician provides support and knowledge in all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance. After successful completion of the probationary period this shift will be from 3pm – 11 pm, Tuesday thru Saturday. Applicants must be available to support the university when overtime is offered.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Be well-versed in all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance, including low voltage work.
- Provides assistance with and offers knowledge of electrical services, lighting, roughing and trim, conduit installations and bending, residential and commercial applications, fire alarms, data cabling, etc.
- Ability to read prints.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
