Position Title Part-Time Business Career Advisor Position Number 896375 Position Category Administration School / Division School of Business Department Full-Time or Part-Time Part-Time Description Reporting to the Executive Director of Graduate Business Career Relations, the Part-Time Business Career Advisor will be expected to work 10-15 hours per week in person on campus from January through May. This position is responsible for providing career advisement for Zarb School of Business students, program design and delivery for the department’s career events. This position has an end date of May 31, 2025. This role will remain active each semester dependent upon funding.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Provides one-on-one and small group career coaching to students and alumni on career planning and development topics.
- Proactively tracks the progress of internship and full-time career outcomes.
- Trains and develops incoming and current students in career development workshops such as resume development, interview strategies, leveraging LinkedIn, job and internship search, and networking.
- Develops and manages event planning, such as career related executive speaker events, corporate / alumni panels, networking events, corporate information sessions and visits, NYC experiences, and leadership seminars for students.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
