Position Title Part-Time Clerk Supervisor, Grade B Position Number 898825 Position Category Staff School / Division Library Operations Department Resource & Collection Services Full-Time or Part-Time Part-Time Description Reporting to the Vice Dean for Administrative and User Services, the Part-Time Clerk Supervisor provides friendly, high quality customer service to Library patrons and assists with Circulation / Reserve / Periodical transactions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Assists with check-out / check-in of library materials.
- Provides basic information and directional assistance to library users, both in person and via telephone.
- Answers telephone and directs callers accordingly.
- Monitors security and facilities in the building on nights / weekends and reports problems to Public Safety.
- Supervises student aides.
- Records departmental statistics.
- May perform other duties not specifically identified above but which require the same degree of skill, and which are normally included within the above job title.
Hours : Monday : 5pm – 11pmFriday : 5pm – 11pmSaturday : 9am – 5pmSunday : 12pm – 6pmSubject to bumping Qualifications
