Job Overview
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable Budtender to join our team. This position will focus on providing a stellar retail experience for our customers. Hours will primarily fall on weeknights and weekends (our periods with the most foot traffic). Ideal candidates will have in depth knowledge and experience with cannabis as well as a positive, friendly demeanor. We are looking for people willing to bring their expertise but who are also open to learning the Hog Cannabis way.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable cannabis products based on their needs
- Provide information on different strains, potency, and consumption methods
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure shelves are stocked
- Count drawers in and out at shift change
- Apply customer service skills similar to those in a grocery store setting
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic math for transactions
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of cannabis products and strains is advantageous
- Ability to handle stock and maintain inventory levels effectively - High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older - Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team - Ability to to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
