What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worm Packer position at Hog Island Wholesale Bait?
Hog Island Wholesale Bait is looking for Worm Packers. This is a seasonal position that starts in the Spring and goes through Labor Day. This is a vital position to help the organization meet the demands of their customers.
The job starts out at an hourly wage. After 3-4 weeks, we transition pay to piece work pay (you get paid for how much you package). A good work ethic is required - the more you put into it, the more you will make.
Duties:
- Package product - night crawlers, dillies and trout worms
- Keep work station orderly and clean.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Positive Demeanor
- Ability to maintain a consistent, work schedule
- Ability to do basic math skills
- Not afraid to get a little dirty!
