JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat, Inc. the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Lumber Yard Associate to
join the team at our Newton Grove, NC location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Load/Unload Trucks
- Pull customers lumber orders
- Join the rest of the store team members in the tasks required to maintain a clean and orderly store
- Will be exposed to various weather conditions
- Arrive at the store on-time and ready to work for all scheduled store hours
- Take advantage of training opportunities offered by Hog Slat and by our vendors
- Continually upgrade industry knowledge
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
- Must be willing and able to obtain fork lift certification and use a fork lift regularly
- Ability to quickly learn inventory management software
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Must possess a valid driver license and satisfactory driving record
