Automation Operator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Beam Line Operator to join our team. The Beam Line Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring our Voortman MSI Line. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to advanced scientific projects in a collaborative environment. Along with the Beam Line Operator responsibilities general automation operating of other equipment will also be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Beam Line Systems: Manage the day-to-day operation of beamline equipment, ensuring that all systems run efficiently and safely. This includes adjusting parameters, monitoring beam intensity, and ensuring optimal performance. Know and understand nesting and batching software.
- Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on beamline systems and associated equipment to ensure they meet operational standards and safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel in the beamline area. Operate safety equipment and perform regular safety checks on the system.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with the Production and Fabrication Team to understand production goals and provide support to meet scientific objectives. Organize and prioritize the flow of members through the line.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the beamline equipment. Provide timely solutions to minimize downtime and ensure consistent operation.
