Job Title: Controller - Steel Fabricator

As our new state of the art fabrication line in Centerville, UT continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as our Controller.
Position Overview:
The Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our new fabrication facility. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure the financial health and success of our plant. Reporting directly to the President of the company, the Controller will work closely with plant management to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Enter AIA and purchase order billings and ensure timely collection.
Review and cut checks weekly.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts, working closely with plant management to establish targets and monitor performance.
Provide financial guidance and support to management, assisting with decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize efficiency throughout the plant.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax filings and audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary $100k to $130k inclusive of bonus.
