Position Overview:
The On-Call Banquet and Event Staff will support various events by providing excellent service, ensuring smooth operations, and creating memorable experiences for guests. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decor according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously, adhering to service standards and expected serving times.
- Ensure event areas are clean, organized, and maintained throughout the event.
- Collaborate with the event coordinator and other staff members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Address guest requests and needs promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquets and events is required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
- This is an on-call position, so schedule flexibility is required.
