GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs manual, semi-skilled building and repair tasks and assists skilled tradesmen, performs routine tasks not requiring skilled laborer; performs related ground duties, mowing, trimming, raking, assists in snow removal of designated areas; performs related work as required.
DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists tradesmen in any trade by performing the heavier and less skilled work on construction or repair work including carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, roofing and electrical.
2. Works independently on minor repair work in any trade
3. Assists in heavy lifting, sets and moves scaffolding
4. Makes or assists in making concrete forms and pouring concrete
5. Cleans tools, equipment and work area after completion of construction or repairs
6. Operates a truck or other equipment in clearing snow, repairing pavement or assisting in related road work.
7. Mounts or installs washers, dryers, fans, bulletin boards, shelves, etc.
8. Hangs or removes doors, windows, storm windows and storm doors
9. Assists and operates power tools and machinery drills, grinders, saws, etc.
10. Cleans and maintains pool, recreational equipment, and screen houses
11. Performs tasks required by Preventative Maintenance Program
12. Performs ground duties such as hand mowing, trimming and raking
13. Performs related work as required
Agency Requirements:
- Must possess current and valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
Schedule Information:
Full-time 40 Hours
Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Days Off: Saturday/Sunday
