Job Summary
The Assistant Cash Manager is responsible for supporting the Treasury and Cash Management function including the development and management of systems for the effective collection of revenues and payment of obligations. This position will be responsible for contributing leadership, direction and process improvement in cash processing, reconciliation, and reporting functions specific to cash application and accounts payable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists Corporate Cash Manager with directing cash management operations to include daily cash administration and application.
- Manages the day-to-day accounts payable operations and staff.
- Analyzes and solves problems stemming from payment processes.
- Reviews and assists with driving improvements in accounts payable and cash management.
- Develops and enforces processes, policies, and controls to enhance efficiencies in accounts payable and cash application.
- Completes all cash management set-up documentation for new and existing department processes.
- Assists with preparing cash flow reports.
- Analyzes and evaluates variances.
- Assists with project assignments and financial reporting.
- Conducts performance evaluations, develops training programs, sets goals for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned
