Position Overview:
As a Service Advisor, you'll be the bridge between our customers and the service department. You'll greet customers, listen to their concerns, determine necessary services, and prepare repair orders. If additional repairs are needed, you'll provide estimates and get approval before moving forward. You’ll also help customers understand additional services available to keep their vehicles in top shape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assign work to diesel technicians, ensuring optimal job fit and efficiency
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate timely repairs
- Clearly communicate repair details and updates with customers
- Accurately enter and maintain repair orders in the system
- Collaborate with the parts and sales departments to ensure a smooth customer experience
Qualifications & Skills:
- Team Leadership: Experience managing a team of technicians to drive productivity and efficiency
- Mechanical Understanding: Prior mechanical knowledge is preferred; truck experience is highly recommended
- Strong Communication: Friendly and professional communication skills are essential—both with customers and internal departments
- Problem-Solving: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers and learning internal systems
