Job Title: Caregiver
The candidate will provide direct care to residents while promoting residents’ highest level of functioning as directed by the supervisor. Assists in maintaining residents’ environment in a safe and neat manner. Promotes quality services within facility standards, State and Federal Regulations. Above all, you will exhibit a passion for serving seniors while contributing to the positive environment our residents are proud to call home.
Responsibilities:
Provides personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care, including all ADLs, IADLs, medication reminders, and assistance with self-administration of medication.- Prepare residents for meals and assist to and from the dining room. Assist residents with meal set up and eating.
- Assist residents with toilet and incontinence care.
- Perform clinical procedures according to facility standards and scope of practice regulations.
- Perform vital signs, B/Ps, weights and other trained procedures as directed by management.
- Complete prevention and restorative care including, but not limited to, range of motion exercises, ambulation, transferring, bathing, grooming, and all other ADL care.
- Responsible for laundering of residents personal items, not limited to, personal laundry, sheets, towels, etc.
- Maintain education development and compliance with State and Federal Regulations and current knowledge of resident care practices.
- Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, residents, families, visitors, and other disciplines.
- Adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, worker safety and other emergency procedures.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA policies.
- Seek out and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have compassion for and desire to work alongside our aging population!- Certification of completing an approved State Registered Nursing Assistant is preferred.
- At least six months of experience in long term care is preferred.
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire. Physical requirements include bending, standing, lifting, stooping, sitting, walking, stretching, and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
