What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Driver- Heavy Hauling position at Hohl Industrial Services Inc?
We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Haul CDL-A Driver to join our team! This position would be responsible for hauling large equipment to and from various industrial construction sites throughout WNY and surrounding areas. Duties/Responsibilities
- One will be responsible for transporting various construction equipment and at times over-dimensional loads.
- Uses tractor trailers to haul large equipment and materials.
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Responsible for loading, hauling and unloading equipment and materials.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Maintain communications with Dispatcher with status updates/issues.
- Responsible for the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles.
- Must have knowledge of all state and federal DOT regulations regarding Commercial Motor Vehicles.
Requirements of the Position
- Must have a valid CDL Class A driver's license
- Teamsters Union Position
- Must pass all DOT requirements
- Certified to operate all tools and equipment required to perform their assignments
- Landoll & Lowboy experience preferred
