What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver - Full Time position at Hohl Transport Inc, contracted to Fed Ex Ground?
Are you looking for a full time delivery driver position? We are Hohl Transport Inc and we are a Service Provider for Fed Ex Ground and FedEx Express. We deliver FedEx packages all over Central Iowa like other companies such as, Amazon, UPS, DHL, USPS and Speedy.
NO CDL is required. We provide on the job training. Have you driven a U Haul? That is about the size of our cargo trucks. You will spend a day in classroom style training and then several days with an experienced driver to help you get ready for driving and delivering on your own.
Our positions include opportunity for advancement and opportunities to earn extra money. You can earn bonus money for being Safe and for good Customer Service. We offer additional days to earn extra money as well. During the Holiday Season we work 7 days per week. Drivers who show up for all scheduled days will have the opportunity for more bonuses.
You must be confident of your directions and driving skills. You must also have the ability to drive on gravel roads, in all conditions. We work on days that storm, days that shine, and everything in between. We provide GPS and turn by turn directions via an IPAD, in all trucks. You will have to be a safe driver but must be efficient in how you organize and deliver your packages. This is a high energy position. You'll need to be able to think quickly and problem solve. Regular heavy lifting is a part of the job.
No CDL required.
