Hoj Innovations, Inc. seeks outstanding candidates for an Inside Sales Representative to sell material handling equipment, parts and catalog items directly, provide referrals to internal divisions, and provide equipment and systems sales leads to other representatives. Our ideal candidate has great communication skills, is upbeat, will work hard to keep our customers happy, and work hard to contribute as a member of our team. This person needs to have strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. We are willing to train the right person but would prefer someone with multiple years of industrial sales experience and knowledge of material handling products.

Job Description
- Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel
- Promotes service and product features to customers, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained
- Provide pricing and product information to new and existing customers who walk-in or call by phone
- Track all relevant lead information using CRM software
- Provide same-day follow-up on all company provided leads and client requests
- Prepare all written documentation needed for order pricing, picking and processing
- Provide freight quotes on orders or quotes including all follow up and support with freight issues
- Performs follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
- Resolves customer service issues
- Initiate phone calls to customers to generate sales
- Partner with outside sales to provide prices and quotes to ensure customer satisfaction, process sales, research product
- Reads RFQ’s to interpret optimum material handling solutions
- Reads blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and parts breakdowns to compile materials lists of components and hardware
- Maintains a high level of product knowledge through product updates, technology changes, and industry trends.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of previous sales experience (preferred)
- HS diploma or GED
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (such as Excel and Outlook) and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Proven inside sales experience
- Strong phone presence and experience communicating effectively over the phone
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Experience in industrial sales with experience in materials handling products preferred
- Bi-Lingual a plus

- Material handling product knowledge, including but not limited to:
- Pallet/warehouse storage racks
- Gravity/powered conveyors & conveyor systems
- Warehouse shelving
- Workstation cranes & hoists
- Carton & case flow
- Automated storage & retrieval systems (AS/RS)
- Vertical and horizontal carousels & carousel controls
- Forklifts
- Mezzanines
- Packaging & banding equipment
- Dock lifts, levelers, shelters
Other Beneficial and Useful Skills
- Experience with CRM Software
- Reading AutoCAD drawings
- Calculate weight capacities
- A basic understanding of shipping and accounting practices
- Ability to listen and quickly resolve issues
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Must be willing and able to network with vendors, manufacturers and other dealers/distributors
