Hokanson Vascular, the Bellevue-based, world-renowned manufacturer of Medical Devices for peripheral vascular disease diagnosis is seeking candidates for an Inside Sales Representative for our team.

D. E. Hokanson, Inc. (Hokanson Vascular) is a medical device manufacturer based in Bellevue, Washington, centrally located right off of SR 520 and I 405. We design and manufacture tools for healthcare professionals worldwide that help them diagnose and manage their patients’ peripheral vascular disease.

We are a small and impactful 2nd generation, women-owned business, currently with 15 on-site employees, and over 50 years of successful manufacturing history and business stability. Our products are sold worldwide, and have an excellent reputation for durability, which we back with exceptional warranties and service levels.

About this Job Opening

We are currently seeking a new Inside Sales Representative to maintain our high customer satisfaction rate and present the professional image of Hokanson to our customers. This is your opportunity to engage with Hokanson customers to promote and support Hokanson’s well-established peripheral vascular technologies. While direct experience is preferred, we would consider training the right individual who fits our core values AND has a proven track record of excellent customer rapport and support.

Job Description

  • Establish and maintain relationships with all customers. Includes clinical customers (hospitals, medical clinics), OEM customers, and international distributors.
  • Schedule and forecast production for OEM orders. Maintain OEM customer contracts for cuffs.
  • Maintain relationships with international distributors, including contract agreements.
  •  Collect, analyze, and present sales data to assist with strategy, planning, and implementation of sales initiatives.
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries and process new orders.
  • Follow-up with customers about new product purchases. Train customers via video conference when needed.
  • Provide applications support for Hokanson instruments. Troubleshoot instruments issues and work with customers to resolve any issues.
  • Attend scientific meetings to exhibit Hokanson products, establish new customer leads and maintain customer relationships. 
  • Stand in for Customer Service Representative when needed.


Skills & Requirements

  • You must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • 3 years of product-based customer service, preferably in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to efficiently engage with various levels of personnel.
  • Understanding the healthcare or life sciences industry will help you to support our customers.
  • General understanding of human anatomy and physiology will be helpful.
  • Domestic travel required. 4 to 8 trips per year, including 3 – 4 weekends annually.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Ability to remain well organized.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

This position is on-site, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Starting annual salary $68K - $75K, depending on your prior experience. Company benefits include paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, profit sharing plan, medical insurance, and medical expense reimbursement.
