We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Screener to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as necessary to facilitate movement of goods.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse space to optimize workflow and accessibility of products.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with standards.
- Assist in filing documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a productive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
